German made Castrol Syntec? 5w40 S90-V90

While browsing around at the Bimmerfest site I noticed that a lot of the folks there were using a German Made Castrol Syntec 5w30 motor oil. I don't know what the diff is between the US version of this oil, but I did try the stuff and have found for some reason it's staying in my 960 better than the Mobile 1. I have around a thousand miles on the car now since the change over and it's still showing up on the dip stick where it was when I changed it out.
Now that I've said that it'll probally go to burning oil like hell (usually happens when I tell about finding something good)but so far so good and the oil seems to be running cleaner as well.
The oil accumalator that I added to the engine back last year would be about a quarter full after a couple hundred miles, with this stuff there is very small amount in the bottom after the same drive. If any of you have a lot of oil going through the breather or flame trap you may want to try this to see if it helps. Purchased the oil at Auto Zone, they have other syntec on the shelf but the stuff with made in Germany or Baveria is the oil I'm talking of. If you do try out the oil get back with us on how it worked for you.
Hope that helps
