Smoke out of crankcase Ventilation hose? 120-130 1968

Now that spring is here, I got around to getting the wagon ready for use and I noticed that I have smoke coming out of the crankcase ventilation hose coming from the oil filler cap. I have never noticed this before and I only noticed this because I had the car running with the air cleaners off. Is this normal, or should I check my valvetrain or something? My Oil filler cap is clean as I cleaned it before storing for winter.

For reference I noticed this after cleaning my air filters (K&N, but they were off at the time), cleaning the oil trap, checking the pcv valve (it's good), and cleaning the carbs (with carb cleaner). Engine ... B18, 130000Miles.

I still have to gap & change the sparkplugs and do an oil change. This might help; what do you think?

Thanks :)
