instant power loss 700

my 1990 765 Ti experienced a sudden loss of any boost tonight. All was fine for the first mile and a half of my post-work ride home...I stopped at a red light and when I took off there was NO POWER. I got to about 30 mph before getting on the ramp to the interstate...I limped home(about 5 miles) getting up to 55 mph on the interstate. The two miles in town driving wasn't as bad, but the turbo gage went in to the Boost zone, but the power was very, very weak.

I parked it, and I will lift the hood in the morning. I'll inspect all vaccuum hoses and connections. What else might I look for?
