940 Rear Wiper Not Cleaning Window 900 1993

Both of my '93 945's have a problem with the rear wiper not maintainig enough pressure on the wiper to keep it tight to the window to clean it. I've lubed the hinge, made sure the spring was attached to the arm, put on new wiper blade. These have only helped temporarily. The dusty, dirty position of ther wiper attracts crud which gums up the hinge mechanism. Does anyone have a solution or modification? Thanks.
