HOW TO ADJUST AIR FLOW SENSOR (1978 245 B21F CI) 200 1978

MY VOLVO IS CURRENTLY IN THE SHOP FOR REPAIRS. MY MECHANIC (has no expr w/ Volvo's) WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHICH WAY TO TURN (allen screw?) ADJUSTMENT to CHANGE AIR/FUEL MIX. CLOCKWISE *OR* COUNTER-CLOCKWISE FOR WHICH???

(note: the present problem is too much fuel/fouled plugs)
