odd sensor on breather feed hose... 700

I was dinking around a while ago and just now remembered...

on my 90 740 turbo, I found this odd sensor connector that's integrated into the hose that feeds the breather box. The breather hose is connected to the after-turbo intake hose and I thought it odd to have a sensor here.

Does anyone know what it is?
