While i'm on a posting frenzy...what cone type of k and n filter...

..fits without hassle on a 740 turbo setup. I was thinking of keeping the airbox as a shroud / heat sheild by cutting out the front side and leaving the 2 sides, back, top? and bottom to "trap" air and hopefully keep the hot engine air out of the mix.

Is this a bad idea? I do have a spare airbox, so It's not all or nothing.

Anyways, anyone got a part # of a cone type that works?
