Bleeding Brake System on 240 Wagon 200

Does anyone know how much pressure needed to bleed brakes? I made a power bleeder with a 1 gal pump garden sprayer. That pumps air into the MC via a tube attached to an old MC cap through a caliper bleed nipple screwed into it. I screwed a pressure meter into the side of sprayer to give me a reading. I just don't want to blow any seals in the master cylinder. Does this setup sound like it will work ok? I used this before but was putting to much pressure on I guess since I blew a gasket where the resevoir connects to the MC.

If you have beeter ideas let me know as well. Hopefuly that one person can do.

Thanks for any help,

John
