245 airconditioner retrofit r12 to r134 200 1989

i am trying to get information about retro fit ac system on 1989 245. do i need a complete kit from volvo that includes evap,dryer,exp valve and hoses, or is there any other more economical way to do the job and still get good results? originally car had r-12 and i want to change to r134. thanks
