Shudder when turning the steering wheel left at standstill or slowly moving 900 1991

940 2 Liter turbo 1991 Parent's car

Recently this shudder (light vibrations throughout the car/ steering column) appeared when turning the steering wheel left at standstill, of when slowly moving (parking).

I had a look and all I found was that the steering pump was misalligned. Could this be the cause of this shudder, of would this only make noise?

The answer I'm not looking for is: your rack's toast ;-)
