'92 240 (w/ manual tranny) stalls when coming to stop and shifting from 2nd to 1st 200 1992

Fuse #6 burned out today, so I cleaned the contacts, applied just a dab of conductive paste, and installed a new 16A fuse. The car started up immediately, and as I drove down the street, and shifted down to come to a stop, as the car was fully stopped, it stalled. I turned the car off, turned it back on, and as I continued to start and stop, it did not again stall. Any help would be greatly appreciated-Thanks! :)
