Sorry if this has been posted before (I might've deleted my original post).

Is my rear axle cover leaking from the pic? There's no oil drop on the ground and the fluid level is pretty much allright when it's time for a fluid change. Gasket is original BTW.

Assuming it is leaking how easy of a job is it renewing the rear axle cover gasket? Only thing I'm worried if there's anything attached to the inner surface as if I'm not mistaken the spedo sensor is hooked onto the rear cover.

One last thing how do I clean that area up? Aerosol degreaser and washing powder didn't do a thing.
