Well, this is a bummer, my beloved Ingrid is stuck in the parking lot of the tobacco store. It started with all of the idiot lights going off, lamda, brake fail, battery, accompanied by very rough running if the gas pedal was pressed more than just a tiny bit, though out of gear it would rev up just fine. It limped along and then after parking and shutting off I came back minutes later and turned the key. The pump and electrical system along with the idiot lights came on but the starter would not engage, and then it wouldnt turn off. No matter what position the key was in it was in the same state, draining the battery no doubt. I had to run off to work on the train and I got my Tobacanists' promise that they wouldn't tow me. I disconnected the battery and left poor Ingrid unlocked so my brother could come have a look, there was nothing to steal and it wasnt going anywhere. I came back 9 hours later to find the battery hooked back up by some jerk tryng to steal her and then leaving it to drain when they found it a lost cause, GRRRR... So now my battery is drained, I'm wondering what might possibly do this besides the ignition switch crapping out, the problem started when I slowed down coming off of the freeway, just wondering if it sounds familiar to anyone because I don't know where to start.
