V90 Nivomat upgrade S90-V90

I bought a Nivomat kit from the Factory and expected a spring, a pair of shocks, and a sway bar, just the way the dealer's kit diagram showed and what the advice here stated: softer spring, stiffer bar, and leveling shocks.

When the kit arrived, it only had a pair of shocks and the bar. I called Volvo and they said the catalog was a "misprint" and no spring was in the kit or required. I don't believe them, as the parts guy at the dealer told me the Nivomat spring was discontinued. I have 2 part numbers for the spring: 6819300 with Nivo and 9140471S without Nivomat, so I think Rockleigh is full of fully digested food.... Too bad. I really got good use out of the Nivomat suspension in my '93 and wanted to set this car up for years of use since it is a baby with 54K on it.

I am very suspicious when I hear "misprint" or denial of 2 different springs. If someone said the stock spring would result in a "firmer ride" that was acceptable to the Factory, I would feel a lot more comfortable installing the kit (even though the price just got a lot more expensive with 1 key part missing). As it is now I am concerned that the oversteer will be unacceptable, especially in the winter and will likely return the entire kit on the basis of the "misprint". I'll give them one more shot to get some answer from Sweden (which they said they could not do) before returning the "entire" package.
