Catalytic converter height from ground volvo 780 1989 700

Hi...three months ago I had a catalytic converter put on. Just wanted to know
why the bolts came loose on the connection point right in front of the converter. How would I know if the height is too low from the ground of the converter and how many connection points are there in the exhaust system. Does the converter itself have a hanging point...thanks in advance....Leo
