89 dies at random times,but most often when going slow,i turn the key off and then on and it starts 200

however today it barely started as i was getting of the freeway and the car behind me almost bumped me as i slowed down so fast....what is causing this,it does not matter how much fuel is in the tank....perplexed in denver,...kris
