740 engine noise 700 1991

hi experts -
my 1991 b230 740 has started a new noise when the engine runs. A week earlier I noticed a small amt of coolant on the water pump and assumed the water pump was about to go, but now I am not so sure.

This new noise is more pronounced at startup, and after a period, quiets down somewhat. It seems to be coming from the front of the engine/accessories. I squirted wd-40 while running on wp, ps, gen, and ac comp and no change. I did notice that the ac compressor pulleys seemed to be wobbling a small amt. More alarming (esp after spraying all that wd), I noticed a small spark going from one of the ac compressor brackets to tighten bolts (the ac was on).

I wonder if my ac compressor or ac clutch is going??? The noise occurs with the ac on and off. Your thoughts please on the noise, how to id., and the spark.
