240DL Rear Tailshaft Bushing/Seal Replacment 200 1990

Recently tranny fluid has been leaking from the rear seal area of the transmission. I understand that the rear seal/bushing/housing gasket is a common part that needs to be replaced on 240s with over 150k miles.

I am just wondering if this is a DIY job? Approximately how long would this job take and what is its degree of difficulty? I am very comfortable with a wrench and have all the necessary tools - I just don't want to run into any road blocks. I have read through the FAQs, and pretty much fully understand the procedure required.

If anyone could give me any hints/tips/encouragement about tackling this job, it would be greatly appreciated! I'm a college student and I can't afford the high prices of taking my car to a shop, plus I love the hands on experience!

Thanks guys!
