I discovered another major leak today. There is coolant leaking from a component in the drivers side (United Kingdom) footwell. There is a cable connceted to this component which moves as the heater control on the dashboard is moved between the hot/cold position. I should be glad if someone knows what this components is and whether or not it's expensive. On the other hand, could this type of leak be fixed with silicone sealant? This must be the leak that has made my carpet wet for the last 8 years or so!
