will a AMM from an 89 SAAB (non turbo) work with a 91 DL? 200 1991

So, I think my air mass meter is dead. I don't want to shell out the bucks for it if I don't have to though. I also have a 89 SAAB 900, which I am pretty sure has the same air mass meter as my 91 DL. Can anyone confirm this? They look the same to me, but I don't want to screw anything up. I need at least one car that drives! Thanks everyone.
