81 240 Fuel problem 200 1981

Just bought yet another 240.(Number 4) Owner said they bought it from an auction, drove it home, and it then sat for a while, then wouldn't restart. Was told it was "fuel distributor" Any suggestions as where to start to troubleshoot it? Thanks.
