so i'm interested in purchesing an '83 240 diesel that i found for a good price. i was told that when compareing the VW engine to other engines such as the B230 i should expect alot less horsepower. this is not a big factor in my thoughts of bying this car. its simply curiosity, does any one know what the HP might be?
