Is there a presure still somewhere in A/C. 700

Hi everybody.

I'm parting out 91'740 ( blown head gasket-I have bought it like that ). The car is sitting for 6 months now. Thinking about pulling out A/C compressor from the car and have a question about it. When I check valves at dryer there is silence ( no pressure ). The previous ownes says that the A/C was in running order.
My question is: is it possible that I still have a pressure on high pressure side and if, how can I check this out.
