Exhaust guard 200 1992

This is way outside the box but I will throw it out there anyway. I have a 1990 240 DL that has a leaking rear main seal. The oil drops on the exhaust and produces smoke visible at idle. I know I need to replace the rear main seal. My son is going to drive the car limited time this summer. Anybody got any ideas to somehow put something on top of the exhaust to divert the oil untill the problem is fixed? It only drops about a quart a month and I know it will blow out other seals if I dont fix it.
