how to install an IPD magnetic transmission filter?

I am hoping to install a transmission filter from IPD on my '92 740T. The directions indicate that the filter should be installed on the tranny fluid return line AFTER the fluid exits the radiator. However, the directions do not say how to identify that line, and there are several hoses going into and out of the radiator. How would I identify which is the right one?
