My 244T Might be too good to part out! 200

I just got a black on black leather 1983 244T that I thought I would use a donor to some of the other Volvo projects in my "fleet". However, my problem now is two fold.

First my wife is not pleased at all because my "fleet" is has grown again in the last few days after I bought a little old lady's 240 that I had left a note on. Bad boy that I am, two "new" cars in less than a week...hmmmmm!

Second, after driving the 244T home, I am thinking it is maybe too nice to get picked and hauled off to the wreckers. So I thought before I started picking on it, I would see if anybody needs a nice fixer or a complete car with a good clean running engine. The car has about 180k on it, auto, sunroof, newer cd player, ok virgos, and I was told about five years ago, $1800 in engine work with a new turbo. It runs strong, but has a charging problem and needs an alternator or ? to fix. The drivers front fender corner is crunched, but not too bad as is or an easy fix with a fender from a wrecker. The front struts are also weak, but all in all it is not too bad a car deserving of some tlc to make it nice again. I am thinking it is worth $400, it is in the Seattle area, and needs to be gone very soon.

Please let me know if a 244T is something you need at your house!

Thanks!

Cory
