My 1995 960 wagon has an electrical problem (surprise)! (BTW, I've read the FAQ on electrical problems, cleaning fuseboxes, etc., so no need to re-point me back there.)

Here's the first problem: the main wiper will work but immediately stops whenever you put the wiper stalk back to the off position (like in the middle of a wipe), whereas normally you can go from off to one wipe to off and the wiper will complete its course and return to the home position before stopping.

The other problem is that the intermittent wiper does not work at all. I have cleaned and reseated the relay and wiper fuse, and even gone as far as to replace the intermittent wiper relay but to no avail. You can hear the relay click, then click (as if it were activated initially, then telling the wiper to go) but nothing happens.

Any ideas?
