hello everyone

does anyone know what causes an annoying clicking noise from an old heater fan blower on my 740 ..i have sourced 4 of the buggers and they all make the same clicking noise ...i first try spraying WD-40 lubricant which quietens it alot but can still be heard and comes back soon after installation..ive taken them apart and the brushes are all half worn..ive tried tightening the end play (one too tight and the nylon bush fell apart).....thanks in advance for all the help (aye roll)...daryl from aussieland :)
