AW70 or AW71 interchange for ZF22 700 1986

I recently bought an AW71 to replace the ZF22 on my 86 745. I don't know if it has the 'cut out' for the 'sensor' like some descriptions of AW70/71 show. Did I get the wrong tranny for my 86? How can I tell if it will work with my 86.
Anyway, it has a 89 240 engine transplanted into it so things can be confusing in my "FrankenVolvo".

BTW, I was born on the US side of the Rio Grande. My family has been here since before it was USA (1848).
