Lh2.2 to 2.4 conversion and IRS to solid axle? 700

I'm actually thinking about _selling_ one of my Volvos! Got a buddy with a '90 744 turbo that his son wrecked. I've got an '89 760 turbo that looks great but has a bad hole, and it might be in the bottom end.

Anyway I told him I'd ask here about a motor swap from the 740 to the 760. He likes the mileage he gets in his car and wondered how hard it would be to move the whole 2.4 system into the 760. Would all the harnesses have to be swapped or would the ECU/AMM be all he needs? I told him to keep the small turbo from his car as it won't be as laggy as the big Garrett in the 760. I also know the swap would be pretty easy if he just left the 2.2 in the car and swapped out the block.

The 760 has the dang IRS wiith Nivomats and one side sags. He wondered about the possibility of swapping out the whole solid axle from the 740 in there. I have no idea. Does anyone know if the bolt holes would match up or would it require a lot of fabrication.
