periodic stalling 700

Hey all,
I am baffled. 740 turbo, driven 5o miles or so a day, but every once in awhile, at a stop, I go to hit the gas, and it does not go. And it also at 70mph, just stalls out, tach drops..then kicks back in.
No warning of this, but I did notice when I come home to park it, if it is revving at a high rpm, I will usually have the problem.
Any thoughts?
Like I said, the problem is very periodic. Maybe once every two weeks
