I'm a 240 fan, but there's a one-owner 740 with a 5-speed manual transmission and 150K on the odometer that I'm going to look at tomorrow. I don't know too much about 700s. If this were a 240, I'd be afraid of crumbling wiring in an '86. Is that a problem in 740s as well? What other problems should I look out for besides the items listed in the 700/900 FAQ section under 'buying'? Are there good years and bad years for 700s? What's the best year? Sorry for all the questions, and thanks in advance for the help.
