I've searched the forum and found some good recommendations, but I'd like to ask this question directly.

The driver's seat on my son's recently purchased 1990 760 Turbo doesn't do anything. The passenger side has the normal tilt-back malfunction, but the rest of that seat works fine. The drivers side switch has power.

I've removed the switch and fussed with the "Stop" switch and the other switch functions to no avail. Without a schematic, I'm afraid to trying jumpers around the switches.

Any recommendations on how to proceed? I was thinking about getting a replacement switch, but I can't find any in the aftermarket. I could get a used one from one of the recyclers.

Also, from a quick look at a copy of the electrical manual for that car, it appears that there are at least two relays in the seat itself.

Any advice or suggestions would be most appreciated.
