Air Conditioning Problem 900

1996 965, 120K mi. (new A/C compressor at 70K mi)

My A/C works perfectly on hot days for about 30 minutes, then it stops putting out cold air (plus the air volume seems to be reduced as the temp of the air increases).

If I leave it on long enough, or I shut it off for several minutes and then turn it back on, it resumes normal cold air output.

This happens regardless of the temp control setting, or whether I select fresh air or recirculate.
