I was thinking about getting a set of front coil springs from one of the local scrapyards to save money. Is this the kind of item to get used? Are there any tips as to how I can judge the quality of the spring? Also, how much should I try to get them for assuming I remove them myself. I don't really have much junkyard etiquette.
