get your mind outta the gutter! I meant sport racks.

I don't want to beat this to death but...where you folks think the best place is for some roof racks? I just bought a pair off Craigslist (love that site) on the cheap. I'm thinking maybe the front one should go over the door pillar b/w the front and back doors of the wagon i've got. The rear maybe 40" or so back. I couldnt' find any good info on the pinche internet or on Thule.com sooo...

Do any of you use fairings for wind noise/better gas mileage(?)?.
