I suppose we all have people who can find us the un-findable part. I need some help finding an EGR temp sensor from a '92 740. (My car is a 90, but the PO dealership put in an EGR system from 92!). P/N is 1357135 and the only price estimates I've gotten have been $200+. There's no good reason to use a new sensor, the used sensors will work fine. I really need to find this, as my smog is coming up soon, and I think this is contributing to my so-so mileage (18-20). I've had a personal best of 24 just after replacing the O2 sensor and 22 while in the mountains running around in 3rd gear (AT) all the time. I know the car can do better. Most of my driving is highway 55+ or better than 40. The engine has been getting improvements, but seemingly to no avail.
