fiexed a clunky shift lever today 700 1991

I observed a noticeable Free play with the auto shift lever accompanied with a clunky sound from the tranny when engaging disengaging gears..It turned out the the shift lever bushing had disintegrated and fallen out!!! I obtained a replacement from advanced auto parts even though I had to cut it and make it smaller to fit the hole in the lever. Now there isnt any play and it is also quiet. The Pin is held in by a C clip...Cheers
