Fenders 700 1990

quick question before i goto get parts . i have a 1990 745 GLE a few years back it was involved in an accident adn the fender infront of the door was damaged i didnt really have the time to fix it, and it was hard to find the fender. recently at the junk yard that i goto i found a wrecked 764 turbo and it looks the same other then the headlights. i measured my parking light up against my uncles 765 turbo and the parking light cutout on the fender looks the same. when i went to check the interchange on car-parts and other websites they say that they are not interchangable. does any one know if the later 740 and 760 fenders are in fact interchangable? the 760 and 740's i know that the lights and the hood are sesigned different.
