Differential Type Number 200 1980

Does anyone know how to identify the Type Number of a differential for a 1980 245? It should either be a Type 1030 or Type 1031 according to the service manual. Is there some identification on the unit itself? I found the decal on the axle but it only has the ratio, p/n and serial number. I have checked with my local Volvo dealer as well as an independent Volvo specialist with no results. Thanks in advance.
