Nut for front strut 900

Decided to go with the Monroe SensaTracs for better handling. The struts arrived yesterday and the boxes were badly mangled. Looks like one of the struts fell out of the box and the nut at the top of the shaft is lost.

Will the nut from the original front strut work with the Monroe SensaTrac's?
