Vibration and sort of growl engine noise and A/C Issues 900 1993

I have a '93 945T+ with 190,000km which has an issue of an unexplained constant vibration that is felt on the steering wheel, gas pedal etc. and an associated sort of enging growl. It is present whether stationary or driving. It starts at just above 2000 rpm with a slight increase in vibration and growl as the revs increase. (This is not felt or heard at all with my 745T+ (manual) with 300,000km) There is no issue with the engine mounts and the engine and turbo otherwise seem to run fine, though I do not have the best fuel economy. I use Mobil 1 and the car has been well maintained with regular servicing. The water pump was replaced at 171,000km and timing belt at 160,000 km. Any thoughts??

Also leakage of refidgerant from the A/C - some have suggested it could be the evaporator. Have had slight oilly film on the windshield before. Any thoughts on this? I also have a slight coolant odour and probably need a new heater core.
