Windshield trim and seal question- trying to prevent leaks! 200 1988

Sometime this summer, I plan to remove my windshield and fix what rust is cropping up around there before I get a leak inside the cabin. My questions are: 1.) Can I purchase a new outer trim molding that can be glued on? (I understand that "newer" 240's had the trim piece integrated into the windshield, but I thought I remembered reading on the 'board that such a glue-on trim piece could also be purchased somewhere. 2.) Is anyone familiar with the product Por-15, would this be good for repairing minor (not rusted through) areas around the windshield channel? 3.) What's the best type of seal to reinstall the windshield with, butyl or something else? I have experience with removing windshields, as I used to help my father in his auto-body shop, but any advice is appreciated.
