Red interior---how rare? 700

I have an 88 GLE wagon, silver with red interior. It seems to be an unusual color. I've looked at about a hundred cars in various junkyards and at the local wholesale auction, and have yet to see another. I've found a few sedans with this color, but no wagons. Most of them were early (85-87) but one was an 89 GLE.

Is it my imagination or is the red plastic more brittle than black or blue?

I am looking for some parts, especially the interior panel for the tailgate, and not having much luck with it. There are several other wagon-only plastic parts I'm looking for too.

Also need a left rear door panel and a right door pocket, which could be from a sedan.

I'm in Northern Virginia. If anyone has any of this stuff, and is at all local, Please let me know. I would prefer to avoid having to ship it, as most of the items are considered oversize.
