Starting problem 700 1992

My 1992 740 is starting to require 2 or even 3 crank starts to run. It will not fire enough on the first crank. When it does start, it runs smoothly.
I am going to change the plugs and wires as a first try, then a bottle of injector clean.

Any advice if this does not work ? It's a non-turbo, automatic with about 260,000 km.
