sunroof 700 1988

I just bought a 1988 760 turbo sedan. I went to get the inside cleaned out at a detail shop (it was filthy) and they washed the exterior.

Before the wash and clean, the SUNROOF worked fine in both the open and vent modes. As I left the carwash, I opened the vent mode of the sunroof. Now, it will not close. I have checked the connection at the switch and everything seems fine. No noises are heard when the switch is pushed now.

ANY suggestions are appreciated.
