Poor performance in hot weather 200

For the past two summers I've noticed a noticeable decrease in the engine performance on my 91 240 (185k). It is hard to start when the weather is hot and will frequently stall out when idling. It had a tune up earlier in the year. Runs like a champ in cold and cool weather. MPG has not changed. Any suggestions about what may be going on? Thanks for your advice.
