Jumbo Girling Caliper Pins & Play in Sliding Caliper 900

My wife's '94 960 wagon has the single piston Jumbo Giling calipers in the front. I am noticing some rattling sound over bumpy terrain, and I believe this is coming from the sliding caliper. I have recently replaced the pads and lubed up the sliding caliper pins. I had been using some anti-sieze to lube up the pins over the past 4 years or so, but the last time I used Sil-Glyde silicone grease. The Sil-Glyde definitely has less friction than the anti-sieze, which gets a bit thick in between pad changes, but I think the less viscous Sil-Glyde has made play in the pin/sliding caliper interface more notable.

I know that the pin set is available, though not real cheap, but one has to wonder about wear in the sliding caliper bore bore as well.

Has anyone had any experience with this issue to provide guidance on the benefits of replacing the pin set?

I can't even find the diameter of the new pins. If I had that info, I could pin gauge the diameter of the caliper bores to see what kind of wear exists there.

For now, I've openened them up and put some anti-sieze back in there to see if I can get it a bit more gooey in there.
