Good Day. I have an 85 760 Turbo wagon Auto with the HUGE 2" shaft and the rear flange has a crack in one of the u-joint cup housings. I have found a 1 3/4" driveshaft off a 740 auto with 3 new u-joints and a new steady bearing. The flange to flange distance from tranny to axle measures the same. Is the centre(steady) bearing mount the same size and can this driveshaft work. I'm not worried about ponies as I'm sure more than a few of the 160 the turbo originally had are probably pushing up daisies. Thanks guys!
