1984 245 GL radio noise suppressor 200

Hi, I have an '84 245 GL that has a radio issue. Whenever I have the motor on, there is quite a bit of static in the radio (especially when I hit bumps). The noise got a bit better after I changed the alternator but it is still there. I was wondering if anyone knows where the noise suppresor(s) is/are located and if they have any pictures of the area. I have been to the dealer and the local pick-n-pull and have had no luck. Does this car have a static collector? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Wayne
